Boom Grease EP2 (White)

Application: Crane booms, telescopic sections, slide pads and heavily loaded sliding surfaces

Greyhound Boom Grease EP2 is a white, lithium based extreme pressure grease fortified with a white solid lubricant and anti-corrosion additives, developed for the slow moving, heavily loaded sliding surfaces on mobile cranes, telescopic booms, aerial platforms and telehandlers. Where ordinary grease is squeezed out of a boom slide, the solid lubricant stays behind as a dry film that keeps the boom sliding smoothly and protects nylon wear pads.

It is water resistant, resists wash-off from rain and pressure washing, and its white colour makes coverage easy to check on inspection. It can be applied by brush, hand, grease gun or through a central lubrication system handling an NLGI 2 grease.

Not intended for high speed bearings or sealed-for-life motor bearings, where a bearing grease such as Electric Motor Grease EP2 is the correct choice.
