Circulating Oil
Greyhound™ Circulating Oil is a rust and oxidation inhibited mineral oil range, ISO VG 32 to 460, developed for the conveyor and crusher bearings of copper crushing mills and for the circulating systems of plants and mines. It resists foaming, separates water quickly and protects against rust and corrosion in wet and dusty conditions. Every grade carries an ashless sulphur-phosphorus system with extreme pressure capability, so one product covers plain circulating duty (CL) and circulating systems that also lubricate loaded gearing (CLP). Light grades (32 to 68) suit turbine-type and R&O systems and combined hydraulic duty; medium grades (100 to 220) suit heavier bearings, general plant systems and paper machines; heavy grades (320 to 460) suit rolling mill bearings and heavy gearbox circulation.
Application: Lubrication of bearings and circulating systems in mills, plants and mines, including systems that also feed loaded gears.
Greyhound™ Circulating Oil 32 is a rust and oxidation inhibited mineral oil in the ISO VG 32 grade, developed for the conveyor and crusher bearings of copper crushing mills. - Oxidation resistance: long oil life with little sludge or deposit formation.
- Extreme pressure and anti-wear protection: carries loaded gears and extends the life of moving parts.
- Low pour point and high filterability: easy cold start-up; suitable for very fine filters and oil-mist systems, since it contains no lead compounds.
