Marine Grease EP1 (Blue)

Application: Boat trailers, marine equipment and any bearing or pin exposed to water

Greyhound Marine Grease EP1 is a blue calcium sulfonate grease with an adhesion system, made for equipment that lives in or near water. It stays on the part through saltwater immersion, pressure washing and spray, and protects steel against the rust that destroys trailer bearings, winches and deck hardware.

The adhesive NLGI 1 consistency clings to bearings, pins and gears while still pumping easily through a grease gun. Calcium sulfonate gives a very high dropping point, outstanding corrosion protection and mechanical stability, which is why it outperforms the lithium marine greases commonly sold for boat trailers.

Applications:

• Boat and jet ski trailers: wheel bearings, rollers, winch posts, coupling and jockey wheel
• Boats: outboard pivots and tilt mechanisms, steering linkages, propeller shafts, anchor winches and windlasses, deck hardware, hinges and fittings
• Coastal and wet plant: irrigation and borehole pumps, water treatment works, wash bays, car wash equipment, dairy and abattoir wash-down areas
• Caravans and trailers: wheel bearings, hitches, stabiliser jacks and corner steadies
• General: gate hinges, slipway winches, pool and pump equipment near the coast

Not recommended for mixing with polyurea greases. Repack trailer bearings before each season and after any immersion for best protection.
