1) Junior Accounting & Inventory Administrator – Isando, Johannesburg
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounting & Inventory Administrator to join our operations team at Greyhound Lubricants (Team Green). This role suits someone with a foundation in accounting and inventory management who enjoys working independently and taking ownership in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
The position focuses on maintaining accurate supplier records, transactional entries, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) across our lubricants and base-oil operations, while supporting the finance and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounting and bookkeeping tasks
- Perform creditor and supplier transactional entries
- Support inventory management, stock accuracy, and reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile inventory journals and movement reports
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for blending and packaging
- Collaborate with production and operations to ensure data integrity
- Support general administrative duties across accounting and operations
Requirements & Attributes
- Basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping principles
- Experience with Pastel or similar accounting systems (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with inventory or manufacturing processes (preferred)
- Self-driven, outcome-focused, and able to work without constant supervision
- Applies common sense and sound judgment in daily decisions
- Reliable team player who communicates clearly and takes accountability
