0W-20 Engine Oil
Greyhound G-Pro Fully Synthetic 0W20 engine oil is the most common and popular viscosity grade for modern cars. It is ideal for starting engines at low temperatures and effective at high engine temperatures. Greyhound™ G-Pro™ is an advanced fully synthetic 0W-20 engine oil and is designed to withstand the high pressure and high temperatures of modern gas and turbo diesel engines.
Greyhound 0W20 oil is designed for engines meeting the requirements of SAE 0W-20; API SN/CF; ACEA A1/B1; ILSAC GF-5; FORD WSS M2C 947 A, STJLR.51.5122; Fiat 9.55535-CR1. ITP-SA
Application: Petrol, Diesel: passenger cars, SUVs, light commercial vehicles.
Greyhound™ G-Pro™ Plus is our most advanced fully synthetic engine oil series incorporating the latest technology in engine protection. G-Pro™ Plus 0W20 is a universal multi-grade engine oil with a low friction coefficient designed for use in modem high-output petrol and diesel engines. Greyhound™ G-Pro™ 0W20 minimizes friction, wear, and fuel consumption, and is suitable for extended oil drain intervals according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The excellent cold start behavior ensures optimum lubrication safety during the cold running phase.
Greyhound G-Pro 5W-30 and 5W-20 are the most popular grades in the automotive, light vehicle market oil market. But in recent years, 0W-20 will become the fastest-growing grade in Europe and the most common grade recommended by auto manufacturers in the coming years. The reason for this is due to the technical advancements of automobile engines in hybrid technology, cylinder deactivation, stop-start engines, direct injection (GDI), and turbochargers. All these changes are putting different stresses on the engine and, consequently, on the motor oil. Despite all this new technology, fuel economy and emissions becoming very important to auto manufacturers as well as car manufacturers are driving more power out of the same or smaller engines. Thus, there is a requirement for thinner engine oil that is driven by newer vehicles. In general, auto manufacturers are requiring a 0W-20 more commonly for their newer vehicles especially operating in colder climates leading to the growth of the 0W-20 in the motor oil market
Specifications:
SAE 0W-20; API SN/CF; ACEA A1/B1; ILSAC GF-5; FORD WSS M2C 947 A, STJLR.51.5122; Fiat 9.55535-CR1
Benefits:
- G-Pro™ engine oil has high thermal and oxidation stability, which reduces sludging, and prevents the formation of deposits and thickening of the oil during the full operating cycle of the engine;
- G-Pro™ engine oil bonds with metal surfaces and provides remarkable resistance to wear, thus enabling longer engine life and prolonged service intervals;
- G-Pro™ engine oil has high adhesion of an ultra-thin protective film of oil, which does not drain into the crankcase and always remains on the lubricated parts of the engine;
- G-Pro™ engine oil has fast oil flow characteristics which lubricate engine parts and make starting the engine extremely easy;
- G-Pro™ engine oil has extreme fluidity and offers low starting resistance to cranking of the engine crankshaft under conditions of low-temperature starting, which provides excellent protection against wear.
