Electric Motor Grease EP2 (Polyurea)

Application: Electric motor, fan, pump and generator bearings, sealed-for-life and high speed bearings

Greyhound Electric Motor Grease EP2 is a green polyurea grease made for the ball and roller bearings in electric motors, fans, pumps and generators. The polyurea thickener gives very long grease life at high temperature with low oil separation, which is why polyurea is the thickener type specified by most motor and bearing manufacturers for sealed-for-life and long interval bearings.

With a medium viscosity base oil and a dropping point of 270 °C it runs cool and quiet in high speed bearings, resists oxidation over long service intervals, and does not harden or bleed out in hot motors. It is the correct top-up for motors that were factory filled with a polyurea grease.

• Sealed-for-life bearings: factory filled deep groove ball bearings, encoder and spindle bearings
• Also suitable for: high speed bearings on machine tools, printing and packaging machinery, textile machinery

Polyurea greases are not compatible with most lithium and calcium greases. Clean the bearing when changing grease type, and do not over-grease motor bearings.
