Rock Drill Grease EP0

Application: Pneumatic rock drill chucks, front-ends, shank adaptors and jackhammers

Greyhound Rock Drill Grease EP0 is a black, semi-fluid calcium based grease with solid lubricant and an adhesion system, made for the chucks, front-ends and shank adaptors of pneumatic rock drills, jackhammers and drifters. The soft NLGI 0 consistency feeds through grease nipples and automatic lubricators into fast moving, hammering parts, while the solid lubricant keeps lubricating under the shock loads and heat that squeeze ordinary grease out.

The adhesion system holds the grease on the shank and chuck bushings through water flushing and rock dust, reducing wear on drill steel and extending front-end life. The thickener gives good water resistance for wet drilling and underground conditions.

For the drill air line use a rock drill oil (see Greyhound Rockdrill Oil 320), not this grease. Clean the chuck of old grease before first use.
