Agricultural transmission oil, often called UTTO or universal tractor transmission oil, is a single fluid designed to serve the transmission, hydraulic system, final drives and oil-immersed wet brakes on tractors and farm machinery.

Combining those duties in one sump is demanding. The fluid needs extreme-pressure performance for gear and final drive loads, stable viscosity and good anti-wear protection for the hydraulic pump, and a carefully controlled friction characteristic so that wet brakes and PTO clutches engage without chatter or squeal. Brake judder on a tractor is very often a fluid problem rather than a mechanical one.

Use the fluid specification listed by the machine builder, keep hydraulic filters and breathers clean in dusty conditions, and watch for water contamination on machinery that stands between seasons. Supplied in 20L and 210L packs with nationwide delivery.
