Engine Oil
Greyhound Lubricants supplies engine oil for petrol and diesel engines across passenger, commercial, agricultural and industrial use, in mineral, semi-synthetic and fully synthetic grades built to meet the specifications called for by major manufacturers.
Choosing an engine oil comes down to two things: the viscosity grade and the service specification. The viscosity grade, written as 5W-30 or 15W-40, sets how the oil flows when cold and how much film it holds at operating temperature. The service specification, given as an API or ACEA level or an OEM approval, sets the performance the additive package must deliver on wear, deposits, soot handling and after-treatment compatibility. Modern engines with turbochargers, direct injection and particulate filters are far less tolerant of the wrong oil than older designs.
Available in 1L, 5L and 20L packs through to 210L drums and bulk, with delivery throughout South Africa.
